A little help, without the fuss.
For help with MedGOBLIN, email robotintheatticproductions@gmail.com. Include your app version, device model, iOS or iPadOS version, and the steps that led to the problem. Please leave private records and backup passwords out.
A reminder did not arrive
Check that the medication schedule and reminder setting are correct in MedGOBLIN.
Check the app's notification permission in device Settings, along with Focus and other notification settings.
Open MedGOBLIN daily so it can replenish planned reminders. The current beta plans primary medication reminders for at most seven days, with a limited number of pending notifications and shorter follow-up coverage.
If a reminder still fails, note the intended time, time zone, app version and device settings when reporting it.
A missing notification does not tell you whether to take a dose. Check your own records and instructions from your prescriber or pharmacist.
A record will not save or open
Read the message shown by the app. It pauses normal changes when saved records need recovery. If a backup restore was interrupted, it can offer readable saved copies or let you import a password-encrypted backup. An older copy may be missing recent dose records. Do not take an extra dose merely because a restored history does not show it.
If you see a protected-storage screen, unlock the device and choose Try again. If the issue continues, close and reopen the app, then contact support. Do not delete the app as your first troubleshooting step.
Making a backup
Open the backup tools from Settings, choose a password and save the encrypted file to a location you control. Confirm the file exists. Keep the password somewhere separate. Test recovery with fictional records before relying on a backup for transfer to another device.
Gobbo is too much, or too quiet
Use Settings to adjust the layout, Gobbo's personality, voice pitch and motion preferences. Check the app's voice setting and your device volume. Some lines use recorded performances and others still use synthetic speech. Recorded lines use sound-aligned mouth and facial movement; synthetic lines use simpler word-timed movement. Tell us the line and pitch setting if speech is difficult to understand. Gobbo's in-app voice is separate from reminder notification sounds.
Privacy and deletion
Read the privacy notice for optional searches, widgets, notifications, clipboard copying and backups. Settings includes controls for these features and deleting app records. Saved backups and copies outside the app need separate deletion.
What to send with a bug report
The app version and build number.
Your device model and operating-system version.
What you tapped and what you expected to happen.
Whether it happens again, and any error wording.
If you attach a screenshot, remove private details first. Support is for app problems, not medication or emergency advice.
