Hi.

My name is Chris Guerrero.  I am a Director.

As a director, I carry the instincts of an actor who has lived a thousand lives. From the intensity of Shakespeare’s Hamlet to the dual chaos of Jekyll & Hyde, from the grit of Blue Bloods to the raw humanity of Orange Is the New Black, my career has been defined by inhabiting perspectives and unearthing truth. These experiences built an inner compass that now guides my work behind the camera — attuned to nuance, alive to rhythm, always searching for authenticity.

I trained in the Meisner Technique at the William Esper Studio, a discipline that ingrained in me the necessity of truthful listening. That skill has become my greatest strength as a filmmaker: listening to actors, listening to the world, and listening to the quiet moments that reveal character more powerfully than any spectacle. My background in music — as the frontman of Bedlight For Blue Eyes, touring internationally and reaching audiences in the hundreds of thousands — brings a heightened sense of timing, tone, and emotional architecture to my storytelling.

What makes me a great director is the same force that drew me to performance: an obsession with crafting moments that feel alive, fragile, and unforgettable. I don’t just tell stories — I sculpt experiences, weaving together image, sound, and performance with the same precision I once brought to the stage and recording studio. Whether working with seasoned professionals or first-time actors, I aim to create an environment where truth can flourish, where vulnerability is not just safe but celebrated.
